characters, enemies and bosses: Eternal Circle features four main characters, up to 40 enemies and around 6 boss enemies to overcome. According to the new battle system introduced in this game all of these characters are represented as 2D sprites in the Strategy Screen. For the Battle Screen all of them are of course rendered as highly detailed 3D models. The only exception are the boss enemies. They are always rendered as 3D models, as they behave in quite different manners even in the Strategy Screen. As they are 3D models in both modes they can be far more agile, detailed and impressive.
